I believe Janice Joplin was onto something there. That’s a little of how I’ve been feeling lately. My wife posted this video the other day on our Longing for Africa site. These are a couple ministries that we’ve become acquainted with over the past year. All I can say is, that while we love our home and are amazed at how God continue to bless us, our heart is STILL breaking every time we see and think of Ethiopia. Our adoption continues to change our lives and hearts every day. “My heart has been heavy over the last week with the news that the MOWA may reduce the number of files they review from 50 to 5 a day. This is a 90% cut in Ethiopian adoptions. Our adoption agency asked us to join them in advocating for the orphans in Ethiopia who have no family to call their own. Please join us in being a voice for the voiceless by either signing this petition today or by praying for the children in Ethiopia and for the MOWA as a they seek a solution to better the Ethiopian adoption process. Here is great article in conjuction with this.
I am 110% behind ethical adoptions and agencies. If you are considering adopting or in the process of adopting, it is worth it even with all the bumps in the road. I do encourage you to thoroughly research the agency you go through. Interview lots and ask lots of questions.
